Friends of Morning Glass
Friends of Morning Glass is an online gallery established to showcase the work of our talented friends. Some of the work is by professional artists and designers, some by friends who simply have a creative spark, but all of the work, I hope you'll agree, is fantastic...

Mike Ayres
Mike is currently involved in a long-term project documenting abandoned farm buildings around NE Scotland. The photo's shown here represent a tiny fraction of the work he has produced so far. -
Susie Hunt
Susie is a well known painter and former chair of North East Open Studios. She has been a constant encouragement over the last few years, and was also one of my first paying customers! The paintings included here are part of a recent exhibition Susie had at Bridgeview Gallery in Aberdeen last summer. -
Gabi Reith
Gabi is a sickeningly talented artist, illustrator, woodcarver and stained glass designer who has just started creating work for Morning Glass Designs. -
Phil Thompson
Phil recently graduated with an MFA from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, and now works for Creative Cultures Scotland. His work includes slate carving, computer illustration, environmental sculpture and graphic design. -
Norrie Watt
A selection of bowls and fruit turned by my dad Norrie. The pieces are mainly Scottish hardwoods, ash and cherry, much of it from the Aberdeenshire area. -
Michael Zappert
Michael and I often work together on larger projects, and I have learned almost everything I know about restoration from him. We also share a lot of interests, including biscuits, japanese tools and books.
