In the second class we will concentrate on the design of your projects. As well as encouraging you to have a look online (e.g. Flickr, Google) for inspiration, I will bring along a selection of stained glass books for everyone to have a look at.

I have posted a PDF file which outlines how to measure an aperture to fit a stained glass panel in the Downloads Section (under documents). I will bring some copies along but if you are planning to fit your panel into a specific space feel free to get started.

Hiya

This week, since we will be working on the design side of things, you will need to bring basic drawing materials, paper etc. I will bring a roll of lining paper, which is ideal for sketching and drawing up leadline "cartoons", from which you will cut your glass.

Bring any/all of the following and I'm sure we'll have enough between us.

Pencils
Pens
Paper
Eraser
Ruler

I will be bringing books for inspiration, glass samples likewise, a full tool set for the folks already underway, lead, nails. Anything else that is required, drop me a line or text - 07884003473, as I'll be at the workshop all day Tuesday.
