Woodend Barn Evening Class > Your first stained glass toolkit
Also, I meant to add that a small, screw top jar with a small scrap of fabric in the bottom is very good for keeping the glass cutters lubricated.

Fiona reminded me I would post what you should bring along once we get started making panels. Most of the list below is neccessary, but there is usually enough tools, pens etc to go round the group. Don't panic if you can't get anything - let me know and I will bring along whatever is required.
A wooden board, at least 150mm bigger than the panel you want to make
2 wooden battens (2" x 1") the length of the sides of the board
A medium permanent pen ("Sharpie", laundry pen, freezer pen) for your leadline "cartoon"
A Fine or Superfine permanent pen for tracing your design onto the glass
Drawing materials/paper/tracing paper/scissors etc (as required)
Newspaper/small boxes etc for storing cut and scrap glass
A large plastic box, about the size of a recycling box (but please keep recycling!)
Thin rubber gloves (if required)
Jelly babies
Cheers
