This 2-day course is designed to provide an introduction to repairing and restoring traditional leaded stained glass windows. The course will cover every stage in the repair process, from stripping out a damaged panel to the final steps of replacing tie-wires and polishing.
The workshop is suitable for both complete beginners and those with some previous stained glass knowledge. Each participant will be supplied with a small antique stained glass panel, which they will dismantle, repair and reconstruct over the course of the weekend.

- Recording damage and preliminary note-taking
- Producing a cartoon
- Stripping out
- Cutting, templates and cleaning
- Re-leading, soldering and finishing
- Strengthening and installation.
