North East Open Studios 2012

Once again, Morning Glass will be open to the public during the North East Open Studios event. NEOS2012 begins in just over 2 weeks, and artists and makers all over Aberdeenshire are preparing to open their homes, studios and workshops.

This year I hope to spend more time running the studio tours, with less of an emphasis on new work. This should give me more time to spend with visitors, and explaining what we do and demonstrating some of the techniques we use. As usual, there will be tea, coffee and goodies, and stained glass supplies on sale for folk who are interested in picking up materials for their projects.

Due to unexpected family commitments, our opening hours this year will be slightly different to those published in the catalogue. Morning Glass Designs (Venue 167) will be open for NEOS on the following days:

Sat 15 Sep - 10AM-4PM
Sun 16 Sep - 10AM-4PM
Mon 17 Sep  - 10AM-3PM
Tues 18 Sep - 10AM-3PM

My dad, woodturner Norrie Watt (Venue 272) will be open as per his catalogue details.
