Anyone driving along the North Deeside Road recently will have noticed that the old Hall at East Cults Church has been demolished. The building contained some contemporary stained glass, a 3 light main window and a series of 8 smaller windows (both designed by Crear McCartney, made by Martin Farrelly). These were, thankfully, scheduled for removal before demolition, with a view to installation as a suspended piece in a proposed new Outreach Centre How the current shortfall in funding will affect this plan is not certain.
The image above shows a portion of the smaller window, depicting 4 of the Seven "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" (represented by a dove). These are Courage, Counsel, Knowledge and Wisdom.
