Introduction to Stained Glass Painting
The latest addition to our range of classes, an introduction to the techniques of stained glass painting, is going really well. This week we were learning how to apply a matt of paint over the traceline, and working into that to add form and texture to our glass.
At the end of the class we had time to do a little bit of gilding. The students applied silver leaf to a piece of glass, and next week they'll back up a design using enamel.
