Every year I moan like crazy that I never have enough time to produce new work for exhibitions like Art Aboyne. And every year, without fail, I start making with three days to go... Just a reminder to artists and makers in NE Scotland that the registration dedaline for this year's North East Open Studios event is fast approaching.  NEOS is an award winning collective of artists, makers and galleries based in northeast Scotland, who open their doors to the public yearly.

Morning Glass designer Gordon Watt will be exhibiting three fused glass sculptural wall pieces as part of "Banks of Scotland", a 6-month exhibition at the Wallacespace Gallery in Covent Garden, London.

This Saturday sees Morning Glass Designs open up their studios to the public as part of North East Open Studios 2007. This years event features 182 artists, makers and galleries throughout the north east of Scotland. The studios will be converted into a small gallery, showing work by photographer Anke Addy and woodturner Norrie Watt, as well as glass bowls and sculptural wall pieces by Gordon Watt of Morning Glass Designs.

Morning Glass Workshops feature on publicity material for the new North East Open Studios catalogue. The pictures were taken from video shot by multimedia artist while working on a collaborative piece at the workshop. The catalogue will be widely available from August.
