Restored Vestibule panel, Aberdeen
We have been working on this beautiful panel for a few weeks now. It was in a very poor state when we removed it, with much of the lead fractured at solder joins, many broken pieces and several missing sections.
I fitted it this morning, on a drench day which started with snow, ended with rain and never properly got light, so apologies for the images.
The house is the only one on that part of the road which has a full name gilded transom - fantastic gilding work, plated between two this sections.
