Even Small Flemish can be beautiful...

I visited a property today to provide a quotation for some repair work on a damaged door panel. While I was there, the client asked me to have a look at their stair window and give some them an idea of what state the panel was in.

The window, a 3-part Arts & Crafts window (below) was in excellent condition and I was able to put their mind at rest. The custom saddle bars (3/4" flat bar, bent to shape to mirror the leadwork) were solid, the tie-wires were all in place and there was no evidence of any cracking at solder joints on the 10mm lead work in the quarries section, or the more detailed 6mm/4mm central motif..
