Stained Glass Image of the Day: Revelation Window, Manchester Cathedral (Tony Holloway, 1995)

Tony Holloway, stained glass artist and craftsman, produced a series of windows for Manchester Cathedral over a period of more than 20 years, starting in 1973. The final window (Revelation, pictured below) was installed in 1995.

This series is a remarkable, sustained achievement. Their world of colour and form goes beyond abstraction to describe, in some purely ineffable way, the spiritual life.
