Historic Glass at Fyvie Castle
Morning Glass have been asked by the National Trust for Scotland to survey the historic glass in Fyvie Castle. The survey forms part of a major series of works at the Castle in the lead up to the Centenary of the Trust in 2031.
The preliminary surveys have been carried out and some fascinating glass has been noted. There is very little literature regarding the glass in the Castle, in contrast with Fyvie Kirk and it’s famous Tiffany Glass window. The images below give a flavour of some of the glass in the property.
